Drive to the Top Station Viewpoint, the highest point in Munnar. En route stop to see Kundala Lake and Echo Point. Embark on a trek to the highest peak in South India, Meesapulimala. It is a challenging trek, best suited for experienced hikers. View the exceptional scenic mountain vistas en route and catch glimpses of the wildlife. It can take about 7-8 hours to complete the trek, so be prepared!After the trek, spend some relaxing moments at the Mattupetty Dam watching as the water reflects the beauty of the surrounding hills.
If you have an extra day, visit Eravikulam National Park. You can spot various endangered species such as the Nilgiri Tahr and experience the beauty of nature. However, skip the trek if you have less than three days.
