Explore the Hills of Yercaud from Madurai in 2 Days
Day 1: Start from Madurai to Yercaud (230 km, 4h 40mins)
Depart from Madurai to Yercaud, situated in the Salem District in Tamil Nadu.
Drive to the 32-km Loop Road and visit the Killiyur Falls. Witness this waterfall cascading down 90ft, amidst a captivating and lush green forest. Enjoy the tranquilising ambiance and devour into hot snacks available there.
Day 2: Explore Yercaud
Start exploring Yercaud in the morning by heading towards the magnificent Big Lake. It is an artificial lake built by the British and one can enjoy boating and fishing.
Next, move towards the beautiful and calm Pagoda Point, allowing you to glance at mesmerizing platforms and hills. You can also visit the Shevaroy Temple, which is well-known for its enchanting idol and intricate carvings.

However, if you have less time, skip either Big Lake or Shevaroy Temple.
