After arrival at the airport, head straight to Fort Kochi Beach. Stroll along the promenade and enjoy the cool breeze from the Arabian Sea. Visit the Chinese Fishing nets adjacent to the beach, and the beautiful St. Francis Church, which is India's oldest European church. In the evening, attend the famous Kathakali dance performance at the Kerala Kathakali Centre.
Start the day early and visit the Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace. The palace has a museum that houses a collection of murals, palanquins and royal costumes. The palace is located close to the Jew Town, where you can shop for antiques, spices, handicrafts, and textiles. End the day with a stroll along the Marine Drive and witness the stunning sunset.
Begin the day with a visit to the Hill Palace, the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. The palace complex has 49 buildings and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. After that, head to the Kerala Folklore Museum, which is full of artefacts and exhibits of art, architecture and culture of Kerala. In the evening, you can relax and shop at the Lulu Mall, one of the largest malls in India.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Bolgatty Palace, Willingdon Island, or the Paradesi Synagogue. You can also take a boat ride from Marine Drive to the nearby backwaters. And for foodie enthusiasts, try the local cuisine at the Malabar Junction or Fusion Bay restaurants. If you have less time, shorten the time spent in any destination, or remove the Kerala Folklore Museum and the Lulu Mall.
