Family-Friendly 3-Day Hill Station Itinerary Near Delhi

  1. Day 1: Visit to Kufri Fun World
    20 minutes (9.5 km) from Shimla

    Kufri Fun World offers something for everyone. This amusement park is located at 9,000 feet and offers a breathtaking views of the surroundings. From giant wheels to bouncy slides, Kufri Fun World is a great place to spend some quality family time together. There is a range of activities suitable for people of all ages, such as go-karting, zipline, and traditional mountain games like Bhagat and Kanthi.

  2. Day 2: Trek to Shali Tibba
    46 minutes (20 km) from Shimla

    Calling all nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts! Shali Tibba is the highest peak in the area at 9,432 feet and offers a perfect day trek suitable for all ages. The trek is around 5 km, but it's totally worth the effort. The breathtaking views of the mountains and temples are amazing once you reach the top. See the mesmerizing Choor Chandni, seven peak ranges from Shali situated nearby, and enjoy the serene environment at the peak.

  3. Day 3: Ice Skating at HPTDC
    17 minutes (8.4 km) from Shimla

    Are you looking for something unique and fun to do with your family? Go ice skating! The Ice Skating Rink at HPTDC Shimla is the perfect place to glide around with your family. It's India's first natural Indoor ice-skating rink with a thickness of 32mm having a seating capacity of around 300 people. The rink is open from December to February and is a great way to beat the cold weather. Skates are available on rent and there's a small cafe to warm up after your session.

If you have more time, we highly recommend visiting The Ridge, Viceregal Lodge, and Christ Church in Shimla. On Day 1, you can also visit the Himalayan Nature Park if you start early. For those with less time, choose either Day 1 or 2 to spend more quality time with your family.
