Pykara lake is a serene spot to enjoy boating, surrounded by lush greenery. At the same location, trek to the Pykara waterfall that cascades down in two steps, to admire the mesmerising views of water as it splashes down to the pool below.
The beautiful Ooty Botanical Gardens are home to over a thousand species of plants, in a landscaped and well-maintained garden. Take a walk along the winding paths, enjoy the blanket of flowers and relax on the lush greenery of the lawn.
Doddabetta Peak provides a breathtaking view of the Nilgiri hills and valleys, with the top of the peak being accessible via a road. Take in the scenery as you stand tall above the town of Ooty, and enjoy the panorama stretching out before you.
If you have more time to spend, consider visiting the Mudumalai National Park or Needle Rock View Point. If time is limited, you should drop Pykara lake and waterfall from the itinerary.
