Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider visiting the Schönbrunn Palace or the Hofburg Palace, two of Vienna's most famous attractions. For a less touristy experience, explore the city's many parks and outdoor spaces. If you have less time, skip the hot air balloon ride at Kahlenberg and opt for a shorter hike instead.

Airports

Vienna International Airport (VIE) is located about 11 miles southeast of the city center. The City Airport Train (CAT) provides an easy connection between the airport and the city center for around £16. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also available but can be expensive.
