The Kolukkumala Tea Estate is the world's highest organic tea estate and is surrounded by stunning landscapes. The journey to the estate is as adventurous as the destination itself. You will need a 4x4 jeep to reach this place as the steep path is very bumpy. During the journey, you will experience magnificent views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Once you reach the estate, you can take a guided tour to learn about the tea-making process and techniques used to grow and harvest the tea. Enjoy a cup of delicious tea while you take in the panoramic views from the top of the estate.
Eravikulam National Park is famous for its endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr, a type of mountain goat. The park is also home to several other species of animals, birds, and butterflies. You can take a guided trek through the park's rugged terrain and enjoy the stunning views of rolling hills, valleys, and waterfalls. The trek will take you to the top of Anamudi Peak, which is the highest peak in South India. The park is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm daily, and it is highly recommended to book a guided tour in advance.
