Explore the peaceful hermitage where Adi Shankaracharya, one of the greatest philosophers of ancient India, spent his last days. The mutt has several ancient artifacts, architectures, and caluses that bear witness to immense historical events and goings-on. The place is also home to several scholars who have been tracing the teachings and interpretations of Adi Shankaracharya's philosophy.
End the trip with a stunning sunset at Agumbe Sunset Viewpoint. Known as The Cherrapunji of the south, Agumbe is famous for its lush green forests and rainforests. Situated at the Western Ghats, the viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the beautiful valley.
If you have more time, you can plan a trek at Kudremukh national park. The trek path is considered one of the greatest adventures in Karnataka. You can also visit the Jog Falls (Approximately 1 hour away from Sringeri).
