A 2-day Natural Retreat in Agumbe

  1. Day 1: Agumbe Rainforest Research Station

  2. Day 1: Barkana Falls

    Barkana Falls is located in the Agumbe range of the Western Ghats and is one of the highest waterfalls in India. The falls are formed by the Seetha River and are surrounded by lush green forests. Visitors can take a short trek to the falls and enjoy a picnic or take a dip in the natural pool at the bottom of the falls. Nature lovers can also spot exotic birds, butterflies and other wildlife in the area.

  3. Day 2: Kudremukh National Park

    Kudremukh National Park is a protected area that is home to endangered species such as the Malabar giant squirrel, tiger and leopard. The park is also rich in flora with over 195 species of plants and trees recorded. Visitors can explore the park on foot or take a jeep safari and spot wildlife in their natural habitat. The park is also home to several waterfalls, including the Hanumangundi falls and the Kudremukh peak.
