Start your trip by visiting the Bangalore Palace, a Tudor style architecture with sprawling gardens, built by Chamarajendra Wadiyar Bahadur in 1887. The audio guides give visitors an insight into the history of the palace and the significant role it played in shaping Bangalore. Do not miss the ballroom, Durbar Hall, and the palace gardens.
On the second day, head to the Vidhana Soudha , a magnificent neo-Dravidian building built in the 1950s. Housing the Legislative Chambers of the state government, it is a marvel of architecture and engineering. Spending the morning wandering the peaceful Cubbon Park is a great way to unwind. The lush greenery and beautiful landscaped gardens are perfect for a picnic.
Nestled in the heart of the city, the Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace is a perfect blend of Indo-Islamic architecture. While the palace is small, it's worth visiting for its colourful frescoes, ornate arches, and motifs. Finally, head to the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens to unwind after a busy morning. With more than 1,000 species of plants and different sections such as the bonsai garden, lake, and aquarium, there's something for everyone.
If you have more time, visit the National Gallery of Modern Art or the ISKCON Temple. Visitors with less time can skip Cubbon Park or Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace.
