A visit to Sula Vineyards is a must-do on your first day in Nashik. This winery is known for its beautiful vineyards and delicious wines. Take a guided tour of the facility to learn about the process of winemaking and enjoy a wine tasting session. After finishing a tour, you can enjoy your lunch at the restaurant overlooking the vineyard, pairing your meal with a glass of your favorite wine.
In the morning, head to Pandavleni Caves, a Buddhist complex carved into a hillside that dates back to the 1st century BC. You can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the top of the hill. After that, make your way to Someshwar Waterfall, a peaceful spot in the midst of lush greenery. You can swim in the waterfall pool and have a picnic lunch.
Start your day by visiting Muktidham Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to various gods and goddesses. The temple has a beautiful architecture and houses 12 jyotirlingas (a devotional object representing Lord Shiva). Next, head to Panchavati, a sacred Hindu site on the banks of the Godavari River. Here, you can visit the Sita Gufa (cave), Ramkund, Kalaram Temple, and Naroshankar Temple. After that, you can shop for souvenirs and trinkets at the local markets to end your trip on a fun note.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Trimbakeshwar Temple, a beautiful ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
