Bratislava has an efficient public transportation system consisting of buses, trams, and trolleybuses. The best option for tourists is to purchase a one-day ticket for €4.50, which allows unlimited travel on all modes of transportation. Taxis are also available, but they can be expensive.
If you have more time, you can explore other sites such as the UFO Observation Deck or take a boat ride on the Danube River. If time is limited, skip Devin Castle and add a visit to the Old Town Hall or the Blue Church.
Bratislava Airport (BTS) is located 9 km northeast of the city centre. Regular buses run from the airport to the city centre, and a one-way ticket costs €1.20. Taxis are also available, but they can be expensive. Another option is Vienna International Airport, located 60 km east of Bratislava. Regular buses and trains run from Vienna to Bratislava, and the journey takes approximately one hour.
