Soochipara Falls, also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls, is a breathtaking waterfall located in the Vellarimala mountain range. The waterfall cascades down from a height of 200 meters amidst lush greenery and natural granite rocks.
Meenmutty Falls is a stunning waterfall located in the Wayanad district that falls from a height of 300 meters, making it the second-largest waterfall in Kerala. Surrounded by lush forests and natural beauty, this waterfall is one of the must-visit places in Meppadi.
If you have more time, you could visit other places around Meppadi such as Chembra Peak, Pookode Lake or Edakkal Caves. However, note that Chembra Peak requires an advance permit from the Forest Department. If you have less time, you could skip Soochipara Falls and head straight to Meenmutty Falls on Day 1, and visit other places around Meppadi on Day 2.
