Start your day by visiting the Kanan Devan Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea production in Munnar. Take a guided tour through the museum, learn how tea is processed, and enjoy a cup of tea from the factory's tea shop. After the museum, head to the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the tea-making process. Take a stroll through lush tea plantations, where you can see tea plucking and processing. Don't forget to buy fresh tea from the tea shops.
Next up is Attukad Waterfalls. The waterfall is surrounded by hills and jungle and is an ideal spot for a picnic. Enjoy breathtaking views and a picturesque landscape, perfect for taking photos. Then drive down to the Lakkam Waterfalls. The waterfall is surrounded by a dense forest, offering you a relaxing and peaceful experience. Swim in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Start your day by visiting the Mattupetty Dam, a concrete gravity dam on the Mattupetty Lake. You can take a scenic boat ride and also visit the nearby dairy farm where you can see cows being milked. In the afternoon, visit the Elephant Arrival Spot, located near the Mattupetty Dam. Watch herds of elephants frolicking in their natural habitat.

If you have an extra day, you can add Eravikulam National Park and Top Station to the itinerary. You can also visit the Munnar Market, which has a variety of souvenirs, spices, and tea to take back home. If you have less time, you can skip the Mattupetty Trip and visit Eravikulam National Park and Top Station instead. Don't forget to pack comfortable shoes and warm clothes, as Munnar can get quite chilly.
