Isafjordur is a small town, and most attractions are within walking distance. However, you may need to rent a car or hire a taxi for some of the more remote destinations. Taking a taxi to Djupavik village costs around $60 and takes about an hour. Rental cars are available from several companies in town, with prices starting at around $50 per day.
If you have more time, consider taking a boat tour of the nearby fjords or hiking in the nearby mountains. If you have less time, you can skip Djupavik village and the Bolungarvik village.
