The fort is located on the Sahyadri mountain range and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. It is a popular spot for trekking enthusiasts. If trekking is not your thing, you can take a taxi to the top. There are also several small food stalls at the top of the fort that serve delicious local snacks.
The Karla Caves are a group of ancient Buddhist rock-cut caves that date back to the 2nd century BC. The caves are located on a hill and consist of chaitya halls, viharas, large congregational halls, and intricate rock-cut sculptures. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit if you are interested in history and architecture.
Tiger's Leap is a cliff-top that offers panoramic views of the valley and its surroundings. The cliff resembles a leaping tiger and hence the name. After enjoying the views, you can head to Bhushi Dam again, which is less crowded during weekdays and catch the sunset while enjoying the cool breeze.
If you have more time, you can also visit the Lohagad Fort, Wax Museum, or take a ride on the Lonavala Toy Train. If you have less time, you can skip the Tiger's Leap and revisit any other location or add a hike to Duke's Nose.
