  1. Day 1: Kolukkumalai Tea Estate

    The Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, situated at an altitude of 8,105 feet, is one of the highest tea plantations in the world. The estate offers a scenic view of the surrounding hills and has a unique tea-making process that includes hand-picking, withering, rolling, and fermenting of tea leaves. You can also learn about the history of tea in the region and sample a variety of flavors. Guided tours are available and include a trek through the tea fields. Please note that the estate is closed on Mondays.

  2. Day 1: Meesapulimala Peak
    1 hour 15 minutes (35 km) from Kolukkumalai Tea Estate

    Meesapulimala, the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats, offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and forests. A trek to the peak is an invigorating experience, and visitors can also enjoy camping amidst nature. The trek is a difficult one and takes around 7 hours to complete, so it is recommended that you start early in the morning. Please note that the peak is closed during the monsoon season.

  3. Day 2: Kundala Dam
    1 hour 4 minutes (26.5 km) from Suryanelli

    The Kundala Dam, built on the Kundala River, offers a serene view of the surrounding hills and forests. The dam is also a popular picnic spot, and visitors can enjoy boating on the tranquil waters of the dam. You can also visit the nearby Kundala Lake and take a scenic drive through the tea gardens. Please note that the dam is closed on Mondays.

  4. Day 2: Top Station
    55 minutes (17.9 km) from Kundala Dam

    Top Station, located on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, offers a stunning view of the Western Ghats. The spot is named after the ropeway station that was used to transport tea from Munnar to Bodinayakanur. Visitors can take a leisurely walk around the tea estates and enjoy the refreshing breeze. Please note that Top Station is closed during the monsoon season.
