Manjarabad Fort is a star-shaped fort situated on a hilltop. The trek up the hill is easy, and the view from the top is awe-inspiring. The fort is surrounded by dense forest that is home to diverse flora and fauna. After the fort, head to the Manjehalli Waterfalls, which is a hidden gem with crystal clear water. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and is perfect for a refreshing dip.
Start off at the Bisle Ghat Viewpoint to get a panoramic view of the Bisle forests that are abundant in flora and fauna. After enjoying the view, head to the Manjeera Wildlife Sanctuary to encounter and observe the wildlife found here. Take a guided tour of the sanctuary and you might be able to spot Indian Bison, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Leopard, and other animals that are native to this area.
If you have more time, you could add a visit to the Jenukal Gudda trek and Hanbal Falls. If you have less time, you could skip either Manjarabad Fort or Bisle Ghat Viewpoint. It is advisable to take a local guide with you on treks and wildlife sanctuary visits. Also, make sure you reach the locations early in the day, as most of the places close by evening and trekking at night is not advisable.
