Munnar is a perfect destination for trekking; you can experience the beauty of Western Ghats by trekking through the hills. Anamudi and Meesapulimala are the two highest peaks that you can try out. Trekking usually starts between 7 am - 10 am. Forest reserve stops entry by 4 pm in the evening, so trek before that. En route to Munnar you can stop at Cheeyappara waterfalls and enjoy the beauty of the falls.
If you want to experience the beauty of the underwater world, then Kovalam Beach is a perfect destination for you. Kovalam Beach is located in Thiruvananthapuram. You will first take a class regarding scuba diving and afterwards start exploring. You can find diving centers opening around 8 am or 11 am. By 3 pm or 4 pm your diving section ends. Spend the rest of your evening relaxing on the beach.
Koladari River is located 40 km away from Kasargod. River rafting in Koladari River can be an exhilarating experience as the rapids can be lively. It takes three hours for the full stretch from Kasargod to Koladari, and you can expect some class III, IV rapids. The best time to do river rafting is from October to May.
If you have more time, you can go for wildlife safaris or visit some tea factories in Munnar or waterfalls in Wayanad. Also, for a more laid-back itinerary, you can spend a day enjoying the backwaters of Kumarakom or Alleppey. If less time, you can remove Munnar or Kovalam Beach from the itinerary.
