Trichy to Kolukkumalai - A Nature Lover's Itinerary

Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady, which is about 80 km from Meghamalai. If you have less time, you can skip Suruli Falls and spend more time at the tea estates in Meghamalai. Have a good pair of shoes as you will be walking a lot in the tea estates. The jeep safari in Kolukkumalai can be expensive but it is worth it for the experience. Also, carry some cash with you as ATMs are scarce in these areas.
