Chail is a small hill station near Shimla known for its natural beauty and scenic locations. It has the highest cricket ground in the world, surrounded by thick deodar forest and provides numerous trekking options to nearby places like Kali Tibba, Chail Wildlife sanctuary and Sadhupul Lake.
Tattapani is a picturesque village located on the banks of river Sutlej. It is famous for its hot springs which are believed to have medicinal properties. Take a dip in the hot water and let your stress and tension melt away. Enjoy the amazing views of the valley and the mountains surrounding it.
Prospect Hill is the highest point in Shimla and offers an panoramic view of the city. At the top of the hill is the Kamna Devi Temple. It's the perfect place for an early morning hike. Admire the beauty of the surroundings and enjoy the peace and serenity of the place.
If you have more time, you can visit Kufri, Mashobra or Naldehra. For a less hectic itinerary, you can skip Tattapani and visit Jakhu temple instead. Do carry sufficient warm clothes during the winter months and keep a map handy as cellular connectivity can be poor in some areas.
