Begin your romantic escapade with a walk around the Lokrum Island located in front of the Old Town. Explore the botanical garden, swim in the natural pool, and sunbathe on the rocky beaches. After that, head to Minceta Tower for spectacular views of the city, harbour and the sea. You can easily navigate the city on foot, whilst a taxi or car-rental can be used to get to the countryside surroundings. Boat tours are also an excellent way to reach the nearby islands. Expect to spend around 50-100 Kn for a taxi ride within the city, while a car rental will be roughly around 250-400 Kn per day.
If you have an extra day or two, consider adding the Dubrovnik Cable Car tour or venturing to other nearby islands such as Mljet Island or Korcula Island. Additionally, don't forget to pack sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and a good camera to capture all the beautiful moments.
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is located approximately 13 miles southeast of the city centre. You can reach the city by bus, which runs frequently and costs 40 Kn per person. Alternatively, that should take you around 30 minutes to reach to the city centre.
