The INS Kurusura Submarine Museum is India's first submarine museum, located on the coast of Vishakapatanam. Visitors can see the actual submarine that served in the Indian Navy for 31 years until retirement in 2001. It provides visitors with a chance to see firsthand what life inside a submarine is like. The museum's exhibits and videos provide insight and information on the submarine's weapons systems, propulsion, and life-support systems.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Rushikonda Beach or the Borra Caves. If you have less time, skip Kailasagiri Park and visit the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park. Make sure to carry sufficient water and sunscreen, especially during the summer months.
