Useful Tips

If you have additional time, we recommend that you spend more time in Mudumalai National Park. The park spans 321 square kilometers and has a lot to see. Also, if you are fond of trekking and want to observe the wildlife closely, plan to stay longer inside the park area.

Alternatively, if you have less time, you can opt for a half-day safari tour or skip Pykara Lake and Waterfall and head straight to the national park. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing according to the weather and jungle-type area if you are going for trekking or jungle safari tour to have a comfortable trip. Do not forget to carry your camera!
