Kodaikanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake, is a man-made star-shaped lake that was built in 1863. Take a walk around the lake or hire a boat and enjoy the serene scenery of the lake surrounded by trees and hills. You can also enjoy cycling around the lake, which is about 5 km in circumference.
Bear Shola Falls is a magnificent waterfall that originates from the Kodaikanal hills. The name 'Bear Shola' has its roots in the fact that bears used to come here to drink water. The surrounding lush green trees and the natural beauty of the falls make it an ideal picnic spot for tourists.
Coaker's Walk is a stunning hilltop area that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The 1-km long paved pedestrian path was named after Lt. Coaker, a British Officer who developed it in 1872. The walk is ideal for people who enjoy nature and like to spend some peaceful time admiring the beauty of the hills. Do not miss the Telescope House located on the path.
