A Nature Lover's 3-Day Vaishno Devi Itinerary from Mumbai

  1. Day 1: Katra
    Arrive at Katra Bus Stand from Mumbai via Jammu Tawi Railway Station, approx 2 hours from Jammu (51.5 km).

    Begin your journey by trekking towards the Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. The trek is around 10 km and takes about 4-6 hours. Experience the refreshing nature with sights of streams, waterfalls, and apple orchards.

  2. Day 2: Sanasar
    Start from Katra to Sanasar, approx 125 km (4 hours).

    Visit Nathatop, an all-season destination that offers a scenic snow-capped view of the Pir Panjal mountain range. Experience paragliding and other adventure activities.

  3. Day 3: Patnitop
    Start from Sanasar to Patnitop, approx 20 km (1 hour).

    Explore the Mantalai Temple and enjoy the serene view from the top of the hill. Then head to the nearby Nag Temple and experience the natural hot springs at Sanasar Lake.
