Kempty Falls is a popular waterfall attraction with icy cold water cascading down from 40 feet above. Visitors can swim in the pool created at the bottom of the fall or have a picnic around the picnic benches available in the area.
Mussoorie Lake offers beautiful views of surrounding forested hills and is perfect for a peaceful boat ride or a leisurely picnic around the lake. Horse riding and other recreational activities are available too.
St. Mary's Church is Lansdowne's oldest church, built during the pre-independence time. The peaceful vibe of the place and the well-manicured garden make it an ideal spot for a quiet retreat.
Bhim Pakora is a unique geological wonder consisting of two huge stones placed one on top of the other in perfect balance. Visitors can attempt to move the top rock and it is said that the rocks weigh exactly the same as each other.
For those with more time, we recommend visiting Gun Hill, the second-highest point in Mussoorie, or trekking in the surrounding forest. For those with less time, we suggest skipping Mussoorie Lake and going straight to Lansdowne, as there are limited places to see in Lansdowne. It is advisable to book a private taxi or rent a car to navigate between destinations as public transport is limited.
