You will have an adventurous time trekking these six refreshing stages while enjoying the natural beauty around you. You can also visit the nearby Vellarimala mountains if you have more time.
Beypore is a fishing harbor and an attractive port city. Here you can visit the historical Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary. Take a ride by boat and enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean. The Beypore Beach Walk is a fascinating spectacle. Numerous shops are selling traditional items, especially the unique Beypore Uru Wooden Shipbuilding, which is a 1500-year-old profession.
If you have additional time, visit the Calicut Planetarium, Tali Temple, and Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary. For food lovers, Malabar Paratha, Pathiri, Biriyani is highly recommended, and for non-vegetarians, the famous Kozhikode biriyani with local seafood like Kallummakaya or prawn are not to be missed. If you have less time you can either reduce the number of days or visit either one of Thusharagiri Waterfalls or Beypore.
