Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is home to numerous species of birds like storks, herons, egrets, and spoonbills. Take a boat ride and explore the park's collection of small islands and islets. Photography enthusiasts can capture some incredible views of the flora and fauna. The best time to visit the park is between June and November.
The Yana Caves are worth visiting as they are known for their speleothems, including stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstones. Their unique rock formations are thought to have been formed more than a thousand years ago. The caves are also surrounded by beautiful forested hills, and visitors can enjoy a serene environment close to nature.
Syntheri Rocks is a monolithic granite structure located in the midst of the thick Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. The rocks are surrounded by a dense forest and the Kaneri River flowing around it adds to the serenity of the place. A 45-minute trek through the dense forest will lead you to this stunning location.
