Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar is a great place to start your trip. Visit the Rova of Antananarivo, a historic palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers great views of the city. Then head to Lac Anosy, a beautiful lake surrounded by a park and various restaurants that offer traditional Malagasy cuisine.
Andasibe-Mantadia National Park is a great place to see a variety of unique animals and plants. Home to the largest lemur species in Madagascar, the Indri, this park is a must-visit for nature lovers. You can also visit the Ambavaniasy Trail located in the park to see other lemur species up close.
Head to the city of Morondava, located on the west coast of Madagascar. Visit the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset, an incredible sight to behold. Then head to the Baobab Cafe for dinner, which offers an array of seafood and Madagascan cuisine.
Visit the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique limestone formations called "tsingy". These formations offer a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Take a guided tour through the park and explore the various caves, gorges, and forested areas.

Getting around Madagascar can be challenging due to the country's underdeveloped infrastructure. Hiring a driver or taking a taxi is recommended. Domestic flights are also available for travel between major cities but can be expensive.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Tsimanampetsotsa National Park for its unique rock formations and flamingo watching. You can also spend more time in Nosy Be and visit the nearby islands for a more relaxing experience. If you have less time, consider skipping either Morondava or Antsiranana.
The Ivato International Airport (TNR) is the main airport in Madagascar and is located in Antananarivo, 20 minutes from the city center. The Morondava Airport (MOQ) and Antsiranana Airport (DIE) offer domestic flights to their respective regions.
