Two-Day City Experience Itinerary for Udaipur

  1. Day 1: City Palace

    The City Palace of Udaipur is a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Built over four centuries, this palace complex houses many buildings, courtyards, and gardens.   2. Day 1: Jagdish Temple

    Jagdish Temple is an ancient temple built in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it attracts many visitors every day. The intricate stone carvings, sculptures and frescoes make this temple truly a sight to behold. You can also experience the beauty of the temple during the evening aarti.

  3. Day 1: Bagore ki Haveli
    10 minutes (2.6km) from Jagdish Temple

    This historic haveli is situated on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. The architecture is a blend of Mewar and Rajputana styles and it houses over 100 rooms. You’ll witness the culture and traditions of Udaipur through its beautiful collection of paintings, sculptures, costumes, and artifacts. End your day with a mesmerizing view of Lake Pichola from this haveli.

  4. Day 2: Monsoon Palace
    25 minutes (10 km) from city center

    The Monsoon Palace, also known as Sajjan Garh Palace is a magnificent palace situated on a hilltop overlooking the city of Udaipur. The palace was built as an astronomical observatory and a hunting lodge for the royal family. The sunset view from the top of the palace is a must-see, as it provides a stunning 360-degree view of the whole city.

  5. Day 2: Fateh Sagar Lake
    10 minutes (2km) from Monsoon Palace

    A visit to Fateh Sagar Lake is a must if you want to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness in Udaipur. There is also a park located near the lake, where you can have a picnic. You can also enjoy a boat ride to Nehru Park on the island in the middle of the lake. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind.

  6. Day 2: Ambrai Ghat
    10 minutes (2.5km) from Fateh Sagar Lake

    Ambrai Ghat is located on the banks of Lake Pichola and is a perfect spot to witness the stunning sunset over the lake and the Aravalli hills. You can sit back and relax with your favorite drink while enjoying the sunset. Don't forget your camera!
