6-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary: Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    45 minutes (22.4 miles) from Dehradun

    Head to Har Ki Pauri Ghat where the holy Ganges River flows through. Visitors can take a dip in the river for forgiveness of sins. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti, a Hindu ritual of worship, at the same location.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh
    45 minutes (20.1 miles) from Haridwar

    Visit Neer Garh Waterfall which is located in proximity to Swargashram. It is also known as 'Neer Gaddu falls', and it is a perfect spot for photography and swimming. Later, proceed towards the Beatles Ashram, which is now abandoned since the late 1990s and has become an attraction for the artwork and graffiti.

  3. Day 3: Rajaji National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (48.4 miles) from Rishikesh

    Explore the beautiful Rajaji National Park named after the first Governor-General of India. The park is habitat for several animals including tigers, elephants, leopards, and more.

  4. Day 4: Mussoorie
    2 hours 20 minutes (55.2 miles) from Rajaji National Park

    Take a cable ride to Gun Hill Point the second highest peak of Mussoorie which accommodates a beautiful panoramic view of the whole town. Later visit Camel's Back Road for a peaceful serene walk in the lap of nature.

  5. Day 5: Kempty Falls
    1 hour 6 minutes (18.6 miles) from Mussoorie

    Head to Kempty Falls nestled at 4500 ft above sea level and is among the top-rated tourist attractions in Mussoorie. It is an exceptionally beautiful waterfall surrounded by green hills and forests to create a mesmerizing view and cool, refreshing atmosphere.

  6. Day 6: Mall Road
    45 minutes (16.9 miles) from Kempty Falls

    End your trip by indulging in some shopping at the famous Mall Road in Mussoorie. Visitors can find various restaurants, shops, and recreation centers.

Useful Tips

We recommend adding an extra day to your itinerary. You can visit Dehradun's Robber's Cave and Mussoorie Lake if you have more time. However, if you have less time we recommend skipping shopping at Mall road.
