  1. Day 1: Gangtok - Rumtek Monastery

  2. Day 2: Pelling - Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksom
    2 hours and 30 minutes (72 km) from Gangtok City Center

    Khecheopalri Lake, also known as the "wishing lake," is a sacred body of water surrounded by dense forests and hills. Afterward, head over to Yuksom for a hike to the famous Dubdi Monastery.

  3. Day 3: Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake and Chopta Valley
    6 hours and 30 minutes (124 km) from Pelling Town

    Located at an altitude of 17,100 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is a breathtaking sight with crystal clear water and surrounding snow-capped mountains. Chopta Valley, famous for its alpine flowers and rhododendrons, is an ideal spot for trekking.

  4. Day 4: Zero Point - Yumthang Valley and Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary
    3 hours (54 km) from Lachung Village

    The Yumthang Valley is a beautiful valley area situated at an altitude of 11,693 feet. Be sure to also visit the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, a protected area for rare Himalayan flora with over forty species of rhododendron.

  5. Day 5: Nathula Pass - Tsomgo Lake
    2 hours (56 km) from Gangtok City Center

    The Nathula Pass is an important trade route between India and China, known for its stunning scenic beauty and a high-altitude mountain pass. Afterward, visit the Tsomgo Lake, one of Sikkim's most beautiful tourist spots, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Singalila National Park for trekking. However, if you have less time, skip the Nathula Pass.
