3-Day Itinerary for Wayanad, Kerala

  1. Day 1: Edakkal Caves

    Head to the Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest Earthen dam in India. Enjoy mesmerising views of the nearby mountains and the crystal clear waters of the dam.   3. Day 3: Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (45 km) from Banasura Sagar Dam

    Visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Go on a jeep safari and spot elephants, tigers, leopards and many other animals amongst the lush green forests. You can also experience the rich flora of the area with a nature walk or a short trek. The sanctuary is closed on Mondays.
