The walls of the palace are adorned with beautiful murals, whereas the antiques and paintings depict the culture and lifestyle of the then rulers. The palace has a rich history that talks about its significance in the seventeenth century. The palace has an exquisite collection of furniture items made of teakwood, including a dining table that can seat more than 100 people.
If you have more time, then you should visit the Suchindrum Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, and Gandhi Memorial. If you have less time, then you should skip Padmanabhapuram Palace and checkout the Wax Museum in Kanyakumari.
