If you're looking for a trek that's challenging yet rewarding, look no further than the Chembra Peak. You'll require a trekking permit from the forest office located at Meppadi. The trek will take you 5-6 hours to complete and it's highly advised to hire a guide. You'll be treated to panoramic views of Wayanad at the summit. The trek starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM.
The Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earthen dam in India and it's a marvel to behold. Its serene surroundings and beautiful islands will surely take your breath away. You can indulge in activities like boating and trekking around the dam. It's open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
If you have more time, you can add the following places to your itinerary: Thirunelli Temple, Kuruva Island, and Soochipara Falls. If you have less time, you can skip the Banasura Sagar Dam.
