  1. Day 1: Edakkal Caves

    Edakkal Caves are two natural caves discovered in 1895 and is believed to have Neolithic carvings from 6000 BC. It is a challenging trek to reach the caves, but it is rewarded with a beautiful view at the end. The place also offers a museum displaying the history and culture of the Wayanad region.

  2. Day 2: Banasura Sagar Dam
    45 minutes (22 km) from Edakkal Caves

    Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earthen dam in India and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Visitors can enjoy boating, pedal boating, and speed boating at the dam. The place also has a trekking trail, which is recommended for adventure enthusiasts.

  3. Day 3: Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 20 minutes (40 km) from Banasura Sagar Dam

    The Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a natural habitat for rare and endangered species of flora and fauna. Visitors can enjoy the wildlife safari to spot elephants, tigers, leopards, and more. Tholpetty and Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuaries, which offer trekking and bird-watching, are also nearby.
