If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Banasura Sagar Dam, Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, or Thirunelli Temple. If you have less time, you can skip the Edakkal Caves or the Pookode Lake. Be sure to carry water, snacks, and comfortable shoes for trekking. Wear comfortable clothing and carry sunscreen and insect repellent as required.
