Hike to the top of Chembra Peak and enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful Western Ghats. The trek to the summit takes around 3 to 4 hours and is moderately challenging, but the stunning views of the heart-shaped lake on the way up and the breathtaking view from the top is worth the effort. End the trip with some delicious local cuisine at a nearby restaurant.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to the Thirunelli Temple for a spiritual experience or the Edakkal Caves for a historical one. If you have less time, consider skipping Elephant Junction, which is the farthest location, and spending more time in the other locations.
