5-Day Adventure Itinerary for Ladakh

  1. Day 1: Leh Palace
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Leh city center

    Explore the Leh Palace which was built in the 17th century by King Sengge Namgyal. The palace offers stunning views of the surrounding areas including the Stok Kangri mountain range.

  2. Day 2: Nubra Valley
    4 hours (120 km) from Leh Palace

    Drive to Nubra Valley which is located about 120 km from Leh. The valley offers a unique landscape that includes sand dunes, lush green fields and a river that snakes through it. Also, take a camel ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels.

  3. Day 3: Pangong Tso Lake
    5 hours (155 km) from Nubra Valley

    A visit to Ladakh would be incomplete without visiting the beautiful Pangong Tso Lake. It is a long, narrow, deep, endorheic (landlocked) lake situated at an altitude of 14,270ft. The lake is about 134 km long and extends from India to China.

  4. Day 4: Hemis National Park
    1.5 hours (50 km) from Pangong Tso Lake

    Visit the Hemis National Park which is home to the elusive snow leopard, Tibetan wolf, Eurasian brown bear and various bird species. It is the largest national park in India and covers an area of 4,400 sq km.

  5. Day 5: Stok Kangri Trek
    2 hours (15 km) from Hemis National Park

    Complete your adventure in Ladakh by trekking up to the summit of Stok Kangri mountain. The trek starts from Stok village and usually takes 8-9 hours to reach the summit. The view from the summit is breathtaking as it offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
