After lunch, witness the Mullaperiyar Dam, a captivating engineering masterpiece and soak yourself in the beautiful Sunset Point to end the day. Stay overnight in Thekkady.
Drive towards Alleppey also known as the Venice of the East. Take a cruise towards the famous backwaters of Kerala, Vembanad Lake to feel the calmness of nature amidst serene waters. Visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary, stop by the Thottappally Spillway and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the coastal waterways. Experience the traditional cuisine and culture of the place on a bright Houseboat ride savoring the scenic beauty of the place. Stay overnight in Alleppey.
On the final day, travel towards Cochin by road, the cultural capital of Kerala. Start by visiting the centuries-old Mattancherry Palace, popularly known as Dutch Palace for its stunning architecture and antiquities. Then head towards the St.Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, followed by visiting the Chinese Fishing Nets, a unique attraction. Visit the famous artificial island of Willingdon and capture scenic views of the surroundings. End the day by exploring the Lulu Shopping Mall for some Kerala-souvenirs. Head back to Mumbai.
If you have more time, you can visit Kovalam beach and explore the beautiful Poovar Island on Day-4. Alternatively, if you are having less time, you can skip the Kumarakom bird sanctuary and the Houseboat ride in Alleppey and head straight towards Cochin in the morning.
