Rise and shine early to hike up to the Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. The trek is steep but will reward you with panoramic views of surrounding hills and lush greenery. You will have to obtain permits from the Forest Department before you start the trek. The permit costs are nominal, and you can hire a local guide to assist you in the hike. Please carry adequate water, snacks and hats as there are no shops once you start the trek. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to reach the peak and return.
