Start your first day by visiting Upper Lake, also known as Bhojtal. The lake is famous for its serene environment, which makes it an excellent place to visit and relax. Enjoy boating here and have a nice breakfast. You'll see the beautiful view of the city from the lake.
Next on your itinerary is Taj-ul-Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world. Its construction is still incomplete after 169 years, and its architecture is a blend of both Hindu and Islamic styles. Walk around the mosque and feel its spiritual aura.
Shaukat Mahal is a beautiful palace built in 1830 by a French architect. It's a combination of both Mughal and post-Mughal styles. The palace has beautiful artifacts and architecture, which make it worth visiting.
On your second day, visit the Bhimbetka Caves, which are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are home to rock paintings dating back more than 30,000 years. It gives a glimpse of the lives of early humans.
Birla Museum is located in the vicinity of Birla Mandir Temple. It has an exciting collection of paintings and sculptures that reflect the rich cultural heritage of India.
If you have more time, you can also visit the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya and the State Archaeological Museum. Make sure you carry enough cash as most places don't accept cards. If you have less time, you can skip Shaukat Mahal. Also, carry a water bottle as it can get hot during the day.
