    Spend some time among the lush greenery of Brindavan Gardens, located on the banks of the Kaveri River. The gardens are especially beautiful at sunset, so consider staying until the evening to enjoy the musical fountain show.

    Head to the Chamundeshwari Temple, located on top of Chamundi Hill. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Chamundeshwari and features intricate carvings, colourful paintings and a 40-metre high entrance tower. Climb up the more than 1,000 steps to the top and enjoy the panoramic views of Mysuru.

    End your day by visiting the Mysuru Zoo, home to a wide range of exotic animals and birds. See the white tiger, Indian rhino, and African elephants, among other creatures. It’s a great place for families and there’s a lot to learn about the animals through the informational displays and signs.
