Kashmir Leh Ladhak Itinerary for Nature Lovers

1. Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

   Check in to a Houseboat in Dal Lake and experience the tranquility of the famous floating market.

2. Day 2: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Drass

   Drive to Sonamarg and trek to Thajiwas Glacier followed by a visit to Zojila Pass-India's highest altitude motorable road. Overnight stay in Drass.

3. Day 3: Drass - Kargil

6. Day 6: Leh

   Visit the ancient town of Shey, Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery. Try your hands at the traditional archery in the Ladakh School of Arts and Culture.

7. Day 7: Leh

   Go for an excursion to the scenic Pangong Lake, a popular shooting site of Bollywood movies.

8. Day 8: Leh - Nubra Valley (Hunder)

   Drive through the highest motorable road in the world, the Khardung-La Pass to reach Nubra Valley. Take a double-humped camel ride in the sand dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

9. Day 9: Nubra Valley - Leh

   Visit the Diskit Monastery and have a panoramic view of the valley from a 100 foot statue of Maitreya Buddha. Overnight stay in Leh.
