Dudhsagar Waterfalls is one of the tallest waterfalls in India and is located in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. You can take a jeep ride to the falls and enjoy the beauty of the dense forest on the way. After that, head to the spice plantations nearby and learn about the various spices grown in Goa. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at the plantation before heading back.
Old Goa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its beautiful churches, cathedrals and convents. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the oldest church in Goa and home to the mortal remains of St. Francis Xaviers. Next, head to Panaji, the capital city of Goa, for some local shopping and street food. In the evening, head to the Sky Bar at Hotel Fidalgo for some stunning views of the city and cocktails.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the beautiful beaches of Morjim, Anjuna and Vagator. For adventure seekers, you can add scuba diving or snorkeling at Grande Island. If you have less time, you can skip the spice plantations and explore the city of Panaji instead.
