Dharmasthala to Mangalore Nature Tour

The activity is open from 9 am to 4 pm, but it is better to start early in the morning to avoid the rush and catch the beautiful nature of the place at its best.

    50 minutes (29.5 km) from Sitanadi Nisargadhama

    After a thrilling adventure, visit Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala, an ancient temple town that has been a hallmark of the Indian culture and heritage for over 800 years. The temple town contains the iconic Manjunatha Swamy Temple, the most stunning architectural masterpiece in South India. The peaceful ambiance of the place along with the traditional rituals and cultural activities are sure to leave you enthralled. You can shop for some souvenirs at the street shops lined outside the temple. The temple is open all day from 6 am to 8 pm except during lunch break from 2 pm to 3 pm.

  3. Day 1: Mangalore Beach
    1 hour 10 minutes (60 km) from Dharmasthala

    End the day with a tranquil evening at the Mangalore Beach, also known as Tannirbhavi Beach. The beautiful and peaceful beach with its soft illuminating sand and the bright blue sea is a perfect spot to walk hand in hand with your loved one or reconnect with yourself. The beach is lined with coconut trees and street food stalls where you can enjoy some classic street food like Mangalore Buns or Goli Baje while relishing in the magnificent sunset. The beach is open all day until 10 pm.

  4. Day 2: Panambur Beach
    30 minutes (12 km) from Mangalore Beach

    Start the Day 2 with a visit to Panambur Beach known for its golden sand and water sports activities like Parasailing, Jet Skiing, etc. The beach is refreshing and soothes the mind with its beauty. Rent a beach lounge or an umbrella and soak up the sun while reading a book. The Pineapple smoothie available at the beach cafes is a must-try. Do check the weather forecast for the day before visiting as the water sports activities may close due to rain. The beach is open all day until 8 pm.

  5. Day 2: Pilikula Biological Park
    30 minutes (11 km) from Panambur Beach

    End your nature tour at the Pilikula Biological Park set amidst forests and waterfalls. It is a unique park that houses a zoo, botanical garden, a science center, a boating park, and a water park. Enjoy a nature walk and spot amazing varieties of plants, animals, and birds. The park is an excellent place to spend time with family or friends. If time permits, you can also visit the planetarium in the park. The park is open from 9 am to 5 pm all days except Monday.

If you have less time, you can skip the Pilikula Biological Park and instead visit the Ullal Beach located around 10km from the Mangalore Beach.
