While there, you can enjoy swimming or sunbathing on the beach or taking a stroll on the shore. Moreover, there are a few shacks in the area serving fresh seafood and other local delicacies. You can also try water sports activities like banana boat ride or Jet-Skiing. And if you want a quieter experience, then visit the Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary located close by.
Begin your day by visiting Kolaba Fort, an ancient fort in the Arabian Sea. The fort can only be accessed via a boat ride from Alibaug beach. The fort was once an important naval station, but it is now just a tourist attraction filled with history and architectural wonders. After visiting the fort, head back to Alibaug and visit the Alibaug beach. It is the perfect spot to relax under the sun and to have some fun in the water. If you are feeling adventurous, you can go for a parasailing or ATV ride.
If you have more time in Alibaug, you can visit some of the other beaches in the area, such as Akshi Beach or Nagaon Beach. You can also try the famous Alibaug Biryani at Sanman Restaurant or visit the famous Murud-Janjira Fort, located a few minutes away from Kashid Beach.
However, if you have less time to spend in Alibaug, you can shorten the itinerary by selecting only one activity or place to visit per day. You can also skip the water sports activities if they are not for you.
