The entrance to the waterfall area is closed after 3 PM, so plan accordingly to spend enough time here.
Swamimalai Hill is an excellent place for trekking enthusiasts. It offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills, the lush greenery, the small town below and a serene lake. The trek is approximately 5 km, and it is suggested to start early in the morning to catch the sunrise from atop the hill. Although it is not a difficult trek, it is still advisable to carry sufficient water and wear comfortable shoes.

The staff is trained and experienced, making sure that the activities are carried out safely. If adventure is not your thing, then you can opt for their guided nature walks, which can be equally enjoyable.
If you have more time in Yelagiri, you can visit places like Nature Park, Velavan Temple, or Government Herbal Farm. For a more relaxing experience, visit the Athanavoor Dam or take an Ayurvedic massage at one of the many spa and wellness centres here. If you have less time, skip the trek to Swamimalai Hill and opt for other nature walks or adventure activities at the Adventure Camp. However, try to arrive in Yelagiri as early as possible to make the most of your time here.
