Take a journey to discover the hilltop city of El Djem and visit the Roman Amphitheatre, which is the largest Coliseum in Africa, and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site that still highlights the remarkable architecture of the Roman empire. Have lunch in one of the village restaurants and enjoy the silence of rural Tunisia.
After breakfast, spend your final moments wandering around the weavers' and perfumers' streets of Tunis or visit modern Tunisia through the exhibits in the contemporary art museum. Return your rental car, and say goodbye to this wonderful country on your way back to the airport.
For the itinerary, we recommend you to rent a car. Rental car costs around $35-40 per day or $250/week, which will provide you with the flexibility and convenience to visit all the destinations at your leisure. However, be aware of driving on the left side of the road.
If you have extra days, consider visiting the island of Djerba, famous for its beautiful beaches, architecture, and Jewish heritage. If you have less time, lower your number of destinations so you can have time to enjoy and rest in every place without rushing from one destination to another.

The airport is modern, efficient, and provides access to several international and domestic airlines. Another airport is Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport (NBE), located 55 miles to the south of Tunis, and serves many European airlines.
